Texture and Ingredients of the product

The exfoliating face wash has gel like consistency, and the color is very mild light brownish. It has very fine microbeads in it, which are not visible as such, like some exfoliators have colored beads but this one isn't like that.

YourGoodSkin Brightening Exfoliating Wash is formulated with green tea, vitamin C and soothing Bisabolol. All the key ingredients look quite promising for oily skin care, in my opinion. The bottle says that it is suitable for all skin types.

Packaging and Quantity 

The exfoliating wash comes in a 125 ml bottle. I just take a pea sized amount every time and that is enough. I have been using it for a month now but very little quantity is consumed. So I think its safe to say that a little goes a long way.

The bottle is made of soft plastic and quite sturdy. Since it is not a glass bottle, hence no fear of breakage in case it is dropped. The cap is also quite secure. Thus no chances of leakage of  the product from the cap.

It is suggested on the bottle to finish the product within 12 months after opening the bottle.

Method and Duration of Use

The directions on the bottle say to dispense the product into your hands, add water and rub until a light leather forms. Massage into wet skin in circular motions, applying more or less pressure to affect the level of exfoliation. Rinse well with warm water after use. Use once daily and don't use too hot water as this can dry out your skin. It further warns to not use it if your skin is broken or irritated.

I follow the exact same method as it is advised on the bottle. I just dispense a pea sized amount on my finger tip, leather it up and massage my face in circular motions (anti-clock wise). After I rinse it with water, my skin feels smooth and clean, without any dry feeling to it.

I have been using it for over a month now. I don't use it daily (although it's safe to use it daily as suggested on the bottle), but I use it every alternate day, preferably at night time after I have double cleansed my face.

As we all know that exfoliation is an important step in skin care regime. I was on the lookout for a good exfoliator which is not harsh on the skin and cleans it up properly. I feel I have found what I had been looking for.

- I love the fact that this exfoliating wash has tiny microbeads which don't feel harsh on the skin when I massage it on my skin.

- My skin feels soft and clean after every time I use it.

- It does not have any over powering scent

- It has worked great on my cystic acne prone skin and haven't caused any breakouts or irritation, etc.

- A tiny amount is needed to wash the whole face, hence the product will last you a long time.

- After every wash, I feel a slight glow on my face which I feel is a clear indication of how perfectly it has cleared up all the products build up (skin care products including my acne treatments etc.) on my face.

The product claims that "skin looks healthy and instantly smooth". I can fully attest to both these claims. Honestly, I find this product to be a great investment in my skin care regime since I haven't experienced any negative effect after using it.
